BCAR supports local domestic violence shelter
In October, the BCAR Cares Task Force celebrated Domestic Violence Awareness Month by collecting requested donations for Hope Harbor Home, Brunswick County's domestic violence shelter. Hope Harbor Home strives to break the cycle of domestic violence through advocacy, education, and by providing a safe space.

Cups: 1,000+
Utensil boxes: 10 packs (2,000+ utensils)
Clorox wipes - 20
Windex - 31
All purpose spray - 12
Dish soap - 5
Lysol spray - 5
Laundry detergent containers - 4
Plus sponges, straws, Band-Aids, napkins, etc.
Deliveries were made to Hope Harbor Home on November 1.
Following the leadership of the BCAR Cares Task Force, BCAR members and members of the community are encouraged to get involved and give-back by supporting BCAR Cares Programs. Our goal is to support at least 12 community organizations each year, with volunteering, financial contributions, or donations. If you know of an organization that BCAR should support, we want to know about it!
