REALTOR® Standard

All REALTORS® must abide by the National Association of REALTORs Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. The Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice outlines duties that REALTORS® have to clients and customers, the public, and other REALTORS®. While the Code of Ethics establishes obligations that may be higher than those mandated by law, in any instance where the Code of Ethics and the law conflict, the obligations of the law must take precedence.

The Brunswick County Association of REALTORS® provides information to members and consumers about the REALTOR® professional standards process. The Brunswick County Association of REALTORS® is responsible for enforcing the Code of Ethics, which imposes duties above and in addition to those imposed by law or regulation.
