About BCAR

The Brunswick County Association of REALTORS® (BCAR) is the local association level of the largest trade association in the nation presently serving its members comprised of REALTORS®, Appraisers and Affiliate Members.
Chartered in 1959 by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), BCAR represents the interests of its members in southeastern North Carolina and northeastern South Carolina. Members have the right, through membership, to use the term REALTOR®, which is a registered trademark identifying a professional in real estate who belongs to the association and ascribes to a strict Code of Ethics.
The Association offers a Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and tax data interface featuring a comprehensive list of available properties for sale and general property information for southeastern North Carolina and northeastern South Carolina.
Members’ interests are well-represented on local, state and federal legislative issues through the Governmental Affairs Department. Networking opportunities are provided through committee service and membership events.
A large number of Educational programs are offered to members to provide REALTOR® Designations, fulfill Continuing Education requirements and to increase the professionalism of members to better serve their clients and customers.
