New Member Orientation

If you are a REALTOR® (including Appraisers) and you are a new member of BCAR, you are required to attend New Member Orientation.

If you were a member of BCAR in the past and joined again within 1 year, you are exempt from New Member Orientation.

Primary Realtor® member must attend New Member Orientation in person at BCAR.

Secondary Realtor® members may attend in person at BCAR or online.

New Member Orientation covers topics necessary for REALTORS® to conduct themselves both professionally and ethically. We will discuss the overview of BCAR to help you better understand how the Association works.

It is a great opportunity to learn about your benefits of being a member of BCAR.

Primary Realtor® Members

We offer the in-person New Member Orientation course every other month. Primary Realtors® are required to attend New Member Orientation during the next 2 sessions offered by BCAR. When you join BCAR, staff will automatically sign you up for the next New Member Orientation course available. If you cannot attend that course date, you can attend the next course date offered without penalty.

Secondary Realtor® Members

Secondary Realtor® Members must complete New Member Orientation online within 3 months of joining BCAR.
