Basic Real Estate Home Measuring and Floor Plan Training

The goal is to provide basic knowledge of the importance of accurate home measurements prior to posting your new listing on the MLS, how to stay out of potential legal issues regarding errors in square footage advertised and how to create accurate floor plans with measurements using your cell phone. Agents will learn:

  1. Basic knowledge of how to properly measure a home.
  2. How to determine what needs to be measured as heated living area and what is considered non-heated living area.
  3. NCREC Case Studies and Legal issues that come from advertising erroneous square footage, who is responsible and how to prevent bad situations from happening to you.
  4. How to easily create professional floor plans and accurate measurements for all your listings using your cell phone.
  5. Additional in-depth training opportunities to increase your knowledge of home measuring and creating floor plans.
