Code of Ethics Training

New Member Code of Ethics Training

To keep your membership with the National Association of Realtors® active, all new members are required to complete NAR's New Member Code of Ethics training within 90 days of joining their local association, such as BCAR. This requirement does not apply to applicants who are already members of NAR or have completed Code of Ethics training in the past, as long as your Realtor® membership has been continuous or that any break in membership has been for less than 1 year.

New Member Code of Ethics training is offered online for free by NAR.

Failure to satisfy this requirement before your due date will result termination of membership with BCAR.

Code of Ethics Training

To keep your membership with the National Association of Realtors® active, all Realtors® are required to complete 2.5 hours of Code of Ethics training anytime during each Cycle. A Cycle is a timeframe set by NAR.

Failure to satisfy this requirement before the due date will result in suspension of membership for 2 months. If you fail to complete the training before the 2 month extension ends, your membership will be terminated.
