CE Elective & Code of Ethics: Risky Business

Who uses computers, emails, Instagram, Facebook, or Twitter? Who advertises online? This class is for you! We are governed by the laws laid out in general statutes, by administrative rules from the NCREC, by the Code of Ethics, by company policies, by our own moral and ethical codes. So, how do we “do it right”? How do avoid the pitfalls, keep ourselves and our clients safe and avoid the ever increasing hazards presented to us in a world of everchanging technological advances and new threats everyday? Course topics include social media risk, anti trust, defamation pitfalls, advertising, fair housing, copyright issues, listing photos, digital millennium copyright act, cyber crime, data security, audio and video surveillance, NAR Exclusive License Agreement, NAR Assignment Agreement, NAR Work for Hire Agreement, and the Code of Ethics. This course will fulfill NCRECs CE Elective requirement and NARs Code of Ethics requirement.
