Women’s Self Defense Training

Hosted by Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office

Certified RAD (Rape Aggression Self Defense) Instructors will be teaching realistic tactics for women to employ as an option for defending themselves in the event of a situation where their life is in jeopardy. The objective of RAD is to develop and enhance the options of self-defense.

This 12 hour course is broken down into 4 sessions. Each day is 4:00 – 7:00 pm in training.

• Tuesday, August 29 (desk day – getting your game-plan)
• Thursday, August 31 (training day)
• Tuesday, September 5 (training day)
• Thursday, September 7 (your skills will be put to the test)

We recommend you wear your typical workout gear on day 2, 3 and 4. Jewelry is not allowed. Please wear your tennis shoes.
