Brunswick County’s Tracy Swanson selected for N.C. REALTORS® Statewide Leadership Academy

Tracy Swanson, Broker in Charge and Owner of Swanson Realty and a member of the Brunswick County Association of REALTORS® (BCAR) board of directors, has been selected to participate in the North Carolina REALTORS® (NCR) 2019 Leadership Academy.

“Tracy Swanson is a leader in Brunswick County’s real estate community and we are thrilled that she has been selected as one of twelve students across all of North Carolina for this year’s leadership academy,” said 2019 BCAR President Lynn Gulledge.

“I am extremely humbled to have been one of twelve students selected for this year’s leadership academy,” said Swanson. “I look forward to being able to take the knowledge I will gain from this program and improve our business and the community in which I live.”

The Leadership Academy seeks to identify local REALTOR® leaders and prepare them for future leadership positions within the community and the real estate industry. The training program provides a unique participatory experience that cultivates leadership, creativity, ethical decision making, self-reflection and relationship building among its participants.

Swanson has been an active member of BCAR since 2006, serving on the Election, Nominating, Strategic Planning, MLS, Legislative, and Professional Standards committees. She served on the BCAR Board of Directors from 2016-2018. Swanson also served our country as a United States Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant.
