Brunswick County Association of REALTORS® partners with Brunswick Family Assistance for 9th annual “Bucks 4 Bikes” program

The Brunswick County Association of REALTORS® (BCAR) is once again partnering with Brunswick Family Assistance (BFA) to help less fortunate children through the annual Bucks 4 Bikes fundraiser. The program, which began in 2011, raises funds to purchase gifts such as bicycles, tricycles and wagons.

“Due to COVID-19, 2020 has been a challenging year for many Brunswick county families,” said BCAR CEO Cynthia Walsh, “Our members continually do their part to make our county a better place, and their efforts are more important this year than ever. We invite the community to join us in this effort to help less fortunate children wake up to a gift under their tree this year.”

Bucks 4 Bikes donations are tax deductible and can be mailed or dropped off at the Brunswick County Association of REALTORS® office, located in the Red Apple Professional Park at 712 Village Road, Suite 201 in Shallotte. Each bike costs $75, but donations of any amount are accepted. Checks should be made payable to Brunswick Family Assistance with “Bikes” written in the memo line. All Bucks 4 Bikes donations must be received by November 30, 2020. For any questions or to donate, contact Katie Simmons at 910-754-5700 or by email at katie@bcarnc.com.
