Numerous Brunswick County REALTORS® earn designations and certifications
More than four dozen Brunswick County REALTORS® have spent the first five months of 2021 earning various National Association of REALTORS® affiliated designations and certifications.
“REALTORS® are committed to a higher standard of excellence, and it is gratifying to see so many of our members going the extra mile to increase their knowledge and skills,” said BCAR CEO Cynthia Walsh. “Earning these certifications and designations demonstrates their dedication to the high standard of professionalism that sets REALTORS® apart.”
Designations are specialized credentials that provide REALTORS® with enhanced knowledge and training in specific areas related to the real estate profession. For this reason, maintaining a designation requires annual dues and continued membership in NAR. Certifications are also specialized credentials for REALTORS® that require only an application fee and continued membership in NAR, but no annual dues. Both designations and certifications hone in on specific things in the industry to allow REALTORS® to better serve their customers.
Designations earned include: Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR®), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®), and Resort & Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS). Certifications earned include: Military Relocation Professional (MRP), Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR®), e-PRO, and At Home with Diversity® (AHWD).
