2022 Volunteer of the Year supports local church build

Brunswick County Association of REALTORS® created to Volunteer of the Year award in 2021, to recognize their REALTOR® and Affiliate members who have given back to the community, exemplifying what it means to be a BCAR member, and a responsible and considerate member of society. BCAR members may nominate a REALTOR® or Affiliate by submitted the application, which has members list how the nominee served the community and volunteered in BCAR Cares events.

Nominated by her peers, the winner of the 2022 Volunteer of the Year award is Melony Rice of Intracoastal Realty. Melony was recognized at the recent Harley Holiday Party, where she was presented with the VOTY plaque. As a reward, the Volunteer of the Year receives $500 to donate to a charity or organization of their choice. Melony chose to give her donation to the Coastal Church build project in Shallotte.
