BCAR members support Street Reach homeless shelter
The new BCAR Cares Committee started 2025 off strong by hosting a fundraiser in support of Street Reach. Established in 2008, Street Reach provides temporary shelter and meals to the homeless in Brunswick County. Their goal is to help individuals become self-sufficient again.
During the month of January, BCAR members donated $1,480 to this fundraiser. Funds were used to purchase gift cards to local fast food restaurants, as requested by Street Reach. They will give these gift cards to those in need of a warm meal.
