BCAR supports Shallotte Lions Club
Following the leadership of the BCAR Cares Committee, BCAR members are encouraged to get involved and give back by supporting BCAR Cares Programs. The BCAR Cares Committee, an eager team of 20, receives requests for assistance from organizations in the community every month. They thoroughly review each request and figure out how they can best assist.
Some organizations need donations of goods, some need monetary donations, and others need hands-on-deck volunteers. The BCAR Cares Committee does it all.
When the BCAR Cares Committee received a request from our friends at Shallotte Lions Club, they knew they could help. So at the annual Member Appreciation Night event, our team collected donations of reading glasses, in support of Shallotte Lions Club. The Lions Club is an organization focused on serving the community through various programs, including those related to vision, hearing, and other local needs.

Community Clean Up
BCARs annual Community Clean Up Week is June 7 - 14. BCAR members are encouraged to get their hands dirty by visiting their local park, beach, or road-side to pick up litter.

Boswell's Breeze
Boswell's Breeze fundraiser collects donations for Fran's Fans, which supplies local seniors with a new fan during the summer heat. All donors will receive recognition!
