Brunswick County Association of REALTORS® Sponsors Sleep Out Brunswick

The Brunswick County Association of REALTORS® is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Brunswick Partnership for Housing’s Sleep Out Brunswick event, taking place October 24 at 4:00 p.m. through October 25 at 7:00 a.m. at Brunswick Community College.

This powerful fundraising event invites participants to step into the reality of homelessness by spending the night outdoors and engaging in an immersive poverty simulation. While many of us take comfort in having a warm bed and a roof over our heads, countless individuals in our community face the harsh realities of housing insecurity every day.

“Sleep Out Brunswick provides a unique opportunity to experience, even if briefly, what so many of our neighbors endure,” said Christian Kohler, BCAR Cares Committee Vice-Chair. “Together, we can raise awareness and funds to support solutions for homelessness right here in Brunswick County.”

Community members are encouraged to join the experience and show their support by registering or donating through the Brunswick Partnership for Housing website. Every contribution helps move us closer to ensuring everyone in Brunswick County has access to safe and stable housing.
