Brunswick County REALTORS® Demonstrate Commitment to Professional Excellence Through NAR Certifications

Members of the Brunswick County Association of REALTORS® (BCAR) continue to demonstrate their commitment to professional growth, education, and service by earning specialized certifications through the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR).

NAR certifications are advanced, educational credentials designed to help real estate professionals gain expertise in specific niches, strengthen skills, and enhance credibility with clients and the community. To date, 407 BCAR members have earned a certification, reflecting the association’s strong dedication to excellence in the real estate profession.

The most widely earned credential among BCAR members is the Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) certification, with 88 REALTORS® holding this designation. The RSPS certification is designed for REALTORS® who specialize in buying, selling, or managing properties for investment, development, retirement, or second homes in resort, recreational, and vacation destinations—an especially relevant focus in coastal and destination markets like Brunswick County.

Close behind is the At Home With Diversity® (AHWD) certification, earned by 86 REALTORS®. The AHWD coursework equips REALTORS® to work successfully within an increasingly multicultural real estate market, emphasizing diversity sensitivity, fair housing laws, and professional best practices for serving clients from all backgrounds.

In 2025 alone, the most popular certification earned by BCAR members has been the Pricing Strategies Advisor (PSA) certification, highlighting REALTORS®’ focus on market analysis and accurate property pricing in today’s dynamic real estate environment.
