BCAR members support Communities in Schools
Throughout the month of April 2026, members of the Brunswick County Association of REALTORS® (BCAR) came together to make a meaningful impact on local students by donating snacks to schools across the community. This initiative, organized through the BCAR Cares Foundation, directly supported Communities In Schools of Brunswick County (CIS Brunswick), a nonprofit organization dedicated to dropout prevention and student success.
The snack drive provided much-needed resources to help ensure students have access to nourishment during the school day—an essential factor in maintaining focus, engagement, and academic achievement.
Founded in 1995, Communities In Schools of Brunswick County surrounds students with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life. Through evidence-based programs such as Success Coaches, mentoring, and afterschool initiatives, CIS Brunswick addresses both the academic and non-academic needs of students, helping remove barriers to success.
The BCAR Cares Foundation led this effort as part of its ongoing mission to serve the community beyond real estate.

VOLUNTEER: BCAR Community Clean Up Event
Register by May 25
May 30 - June 7 is Community Clean Up week. Get a team together, choose a location to clean, and sign-up. It's a simple way to make a big impact, while having some fun. All participants will receive recognition.
