BCAR Cares Foundation

Purpose: The Volunteer of the Year Award was created to recognize those who have given back to our community, exemplifying what it means to be a BCAR member and a responsible, considerate member of society.

Reward: The winner will be presented with a plaque or trophy at the annual Awards Ceremony (typically in December). The winner will also receive $500 to donate to the charity or organization of their choice. BCAR will advertise the winner on social media.

Before submitting an application, please read the following guidelines:

• BCAR Cares Committee will review all applications.
• Only BCAR members can submit applications.
• No applications will be accepted after the due date.
• No applications will be accepted for members on the current BCAR Cares Committee.

Required Application Criteria: 

• Nominators should write a paragraph or more stating why the nominee should be chosen.
• Nominee must be a REALTOR or affiliate member of BCAR.
• Nominee should have experience serving with BCAR.
• Nominee should have experience serving in other organizations.

*The number of applications received for 1 person will not be considered. The details / work stated on the application will be considered.*
