BCAR members support LifeCare Hospice Center in October

Throughout the month of October, the BCAR Cares Committee organized a community donation drive to benefit the LifeCare Hospice Center in Supply NC. The committee collected essential items including disposable cups, plates, utensils, and individually wrapped snacks, all of which were donated to help support the families of hospice residents.

These thoughtful contributions were used to stock the family kitchen at the hospice center—a space that is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for families visiting their loved ones. The donations ensure that families have the comfort and convenience of readily available supplies during difficult times.

“We’re grateful for everyone who contributed to this initiative,” said Amy Crooks, BCAR Cares Committee Chair. “Small acts of kindness - like providing a meal or a cup of coffee - can make a big difference for families when they need it most.”

The BCAR Cares Committee remains committed to giving back to the community through regular charitable drives and volunteer efforts throughout the year.
